The EZ Ride+ is the latest innovation in wheelchair mobility and gets you where you need to go with power and confidence. It transforms your standard wheelchair into an electric wheelchair, giving you the freedom you need for independent mobility!

This convenient device quickly converts any standard 14"-22" wide wheelchair into a powered chair. You'll move over smooth or rough terrain with ease.  No more arm, hand and shoulder strain! (Not recommended in sand). 

The EZRide+ is light-weight, yet strong with 3 speed settings. Cruise alongside friends and family, shop at the supermarket, or take your dog for a walk. Speeds – ECO (3 mph), MED (6 mph), and HIGH (12 mph).

The EZRide+ attaches and detaches quickly, and easily. The built-in kickstand keeps it freestanding until your next outing or simply fold the handles for storage, or to take it with you. The EZRide+ makes it easy to maneuver tight spaces with its 360 degree turning radius, yet it's powerful enough to climb inclines of up 30 degrees.

The EZ Ride+ features a hand brake, throttle, light and horn . The treaded wheel provides traction on smooth or rough surfaces. The brake handle position is easily customizable for your comfort and confidence. The included multi-tool allows the brake handle to be adjusted for owners who have a weak or comprised grip without reducing safety. Travel up to 15 miles on a single charge of the rechargeable battery.

The LED Display Shows: Current Speed, Speed Setting, Battery Level, Total Mileage, Cumulative Mileage, and Current Speed. It also includes a battery charger storage bag that attaches to your wheelchair or over your shoulder.

The EZRide+ is designed to be water-resistant, but it should not be fully submerged in water. It is not advisable to leave the EZRide+ exposed to prolonged rain outdoors. Nevertheless, the EZRide+ can withstand light rain without damage. A significant number of its components are constructed from stainless steel or coated aluminum, which are resistant to rust. However, we suggest wiping it dry with a cloth in case it becomes wet.

The EZRide+ is suitable for use on asphalt and concrete surfaces, as well as moderately long grass, hard-packed dirt, or gravel. However, it is not intended for use in sandy or beach environments.

Warranty

Your EZRIDE+ (“Product”) is warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase (“Warranty Period”) when used in accordance with Product user manual (refer to the Assembly page on this site). Under this warranty, if a defect arises during the Warranty Period, Shield Innovations LLC , at its option will (1) repair the Product at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or provide the user with replacement parts. Customers are responsible for freight charges on replacement parts. (2) exchange the Product with a product with equivalent functionality formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability. Customer is responsible for return freight to our warehouse on warranty repair. This warranty excludes normal depletion of consumable parts such as batteries, tires, brakes unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship, and damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, unauthorized repairs or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship.

At Golden Wheels Mobility, we want you to be fully satisfied with your order.  Please read through our entire policy before placing an order. 

RETURNS AND REFUNDS: 

If you find yourself dissatisfied with a product you've purchased, you have the option to initiate a return within 30 days from the date of delivery. 

IMPORTANT: Review each item's INDIVIDUAL "Description" section to ensure it is not marked as a "Final Sale" item. 

To comply with our return policy, it's essential that the product is returned in new condition, complete with its original packaging, all accompanying paperwork, parts, and accessories. Products with visible use and or wear/tear DO NOT qualify for returns. 

If you need to return an item due to damage or defect upon delivery, contact us via phone or email immediately. 

Before sending back your item, please ensure you obtain a return authorization from Golden Wheels Mobility. Returns sent without prior authorization WILL NOT be accepted and the customer will be responsible for additional shipping charges. 

Contact help@goldenwheelsmobility.com to initiate a return. We will be happy to assist you with the necessary return procedure. 

Restocking Fee:  Shipping, handling, and restocking fees are applicable to all returns initiated by the customer and are payable by the customer. A 25% restocking applies to all returns. 

Certain items marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned due to health and safety considerations or manufacturer policies. 

Return Shipping: The customer holds responsibility for all shipping charges and packaging expenses associated with returning the product to our warehouse. Please note that White Glove and any additional labor service fees are non-refundable. The customer is accountable for all aspects of product packaging, as well as any required packaging materials. We recommend shipping with a trusted shipping company that offers tracking (FedEx, UPS, DHL etc.). 

Product Accuracy: We strive diligently to maintain the accuracy of product images, content, and specifications on our platform. However, it's important to note that vendors frequently introduce alterations to their products, which may or may not be immediately reflected on our website. Rest assured, we are dedicated to delivering the most current product directly to you.

Please be aware that GWM does not accept returns for minor discrepancies in specifications or features that deviate from the visuals or content displayed on the website.

CANCELLATIONS: 

Cancellations (Before Order Ships): 

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can refund you in full before your order leaves the warehouse. Reach us during business hours at 888-851-2726, or after hours via email at help@goldenwheelsmobility.com 

Cancellations of Custom Orders: 

Custom or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled or refunded as these products are put into production specifically for your order. These units are custom-made to your specification or created once you order. Once you place your order they start building your unit. Your warranty will guarantee you a fully functional and operational product. If it is not clear whether your order is custom or made to order, please email or call us BEFORE placing your order.

All sales are final for custom made and made-to-order products.

Cancellation Notes: 

  • If you cancel your order before shipping, post-payment processing, a cancellation fee of 5% will be applicable.
  • If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, please refer to these Refund and Return Policies. The cancellation will be treated as a return, and standard fees will apply.
  • Orders refused upon delivery will incur all relevant fees, including restocking, cancellation, and other associated charges.

WARRANTY: 

Warranties vary depending upon the manufacturer - see individual product pages for details. Warranty damages occur over time and from use. If an item was damaged upon arrival, and not reported immediately, that is not a warranty claim.

STEP-BY-STEP RETURN PROCESS: 

Return Procedure:

  1. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Form: To initiate the return process, please contact us via phone at 888-851-2726 or email us at help@goldenwheelsmobility.com to obtain the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. 

  2. Product Return: Once you've sent the completed form back to us and received RMA confirmation, you may proceed to ship the product back to us. It's important to note that you are responsible for covering all return shipping costs, including shipping insurance. Ensure the product is securely packaged to prevent any damages during transit.

Refund Process:

  1. Manufacturer Inspection: Upon receiving the returned product, we will perform a comprehensive examination to identify any damages, scratches, dents, chips, or general wear and tear that may have occurred while the product was in your possession.

  2. Deduction for Damages: Any refund issued will have the cost of damages deducted from the total refund amount. If the damages are more than initially stated, it will nullify the refund. 

  3. Shipping and Handling: Please be informed that shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.

  4. Free Shipping Deduction: If your original purchase included free shipping, the associated shipping cost (which varies based on the delivery method and product weight) will be subtracted from your refund.

  • Returns sent to our warehouse will not be accepted without prior RMA approval. Lack of prior RMA approval will result in the denial of a refund.

I’m still working on getting all of my additions and feedback on my new EZRide+, but I wanted to let you know how things are going so far. I had a friend in town recently. I live in a great community and usually don’t need to go very far, but we wanted to go out and about, starting with the restaurant across the street from me. I live half a block from the beach. It’s beautiful here. In the past, I’ve had to have help going to the restaurant, which sits right on the beach, because of speed bumps, uneven pavement, and steep slopes onto sidewalks. The worst are the crosswalks that aren’t flat so when using the wheelchair manually, I have to work really hard to not veer off the path. And then the time runs out and everyone is waiting for me. So embarrassing! Anyway, the EZRide+ got me to the restaurant nice and easily with no hang ups! Once there, the couple seated at the table next to us were enthralled by the machine. They watched me detach it and place it next to the table on the kickstand. They told me her father uses a wheelchair and this would be great for him. They took pictures and asked a lot of questions. I demonstrated it for them and told them what a game changer it is for me. This happened at the other two places we went that day. People were telling me how cool it is! No one would ever say that about a regular wheelchair or mobility scooter 🙂

Life Changing!

The EZRide+ has totally changed my life, so I’d be happy to encourage others to be able to experience the same sense of joy, and the closest thing I’ve known to freedom and being able to enjoy being out in nature for years! I’m another incredibly satisfied EZ Ride+ purchaser – this thing is da bomb, absolutely 100% life-changing! EZRide can zip me from Playa del Rey clear to Manhattan Beach, CA, where I have a series of favorite scenic parking spots along “The Strand” (concrete paved bike/pedestrian path and parking areas) overlooking the Pacific, and I get so much interest/so many comments and questions about it from passersby – some even ask and I allow them to take photos of it, and, while bubbling to them with glowing reviews. Over 200 miles of joyful use! Update: 11-9-2023 Here we are about a year later and this contraption is still the most wonderful, absolutely life-changing investment I’ve ever made! It’s about to turn over 300 miles of sun-kissed bliss, making it possible for me to get outside and near the beach to watch my beloved waves, dolphins, sailboats, and surfers, and it still gets so many comments and questions from passersby. Such a fabulous, innovative invention! I’m still thrilled with my EZ Ride+ just the way it is. I’m always happy to provide positive feedback about my “cool ride”, as it’s so often referred to out here in sunny SoCal.

Can't live without it

I am almost 73 years old. Four years ago, I lost my left leg and have been wheelchair-bound ever since. Two years after the amputation, I had to have surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and my arms were not as strong as they once were. We purchased the EZRide+ and it gave me back most of my mobility! I live in a small town and can use the EZRide to travel on the sidewalk anywhere in town. It allows me to do the things I used to do on my own – I can maneuver through large stores like Home Depot or the grocery store and can travel the narrow hallways of my medical clinic with ease. Since one hand is free, I can also use my cell phone. I no longer need someone to push me and I tell anyone interested in my EZRide+ that it is a quick and easy way to regain your independence without having to transfer back and forth to a scooter. Update 11.8.2023 I’ve owned my EZ Ride now for about 3 years and continue to use it every day. I love the ease of connecting it to my wheelchair & heading off in seconds. When traveling by car, it stores easily and takes up little space. Charging my EZ Ride is a simple plug-in to any outlet, anywhere!
